Welcoming new residents at our care home near Hampstead
Candlewood House is a luxury care home located in the nearby area of affluent Hampstead. The location of our care home makes it easy to reach from anywhere in London, be it by car or well-established public transport. Our care teams strive to provide the best standard of care to our residents, making a positive difference to their health and overall well-being. This reflects in the high scores from Care Quality Commission, which rates our home regularly.
On top of the high-quality care and our experienced personnel, who are available 24/7, we also offer a variety of in-house amenities, regularly organised events and activities. All of these are tailored to suit the well-being and interests of our residents, who are always invited to partake in them. This way we make sure everyone feels included and like a part of the warm community of our Hampstead home. We try our best to help our residents experience fun things and enjoy their life on a daily basis, all while providing them with outstanding care.
What makes Candlewood House care home unique?
We take great pride in the strong local community we have built in our Hampstead home. We welcome individuals from multiple religions and have held a variety of religious events, ensuring residents get to enjoy high holy days and religious festivals. Our welcoming carers always encourage residents to stay active and engaged by taking part in the many activities, tailored to suit their interests. For anyone who prefers spending time in some peace and quiet, our beautifully landscaped gardens provide many tranquil areas to enjoy nature and sunshine.
At Candlewood House, we are thrilled to offer our brand new Rehabilitation Services, providing a fantastic way for the elderly to regain their confidence while coping with physical limitations or recuperating from an illness, injury, or surgery. Each resident benefits from individually tailored treatment plans, allowing our team of highly skilled professionals from various disciplines to fully comprehend the unique needs and preferences of every individual. Through personalised care and attention from our team of specialized Nutritionists, Dieticians, GPs, Nurses, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists, we aim to facilitate the recovery of physical strength and self-assurance during your time with us.
Candlewood House also offers residents a variety of luxury well-being and entertainment facilities, such as en-suite wet rooms, in-house fine dining, a cinema room, a beauty salon and more. Shared amenities, such as our beautifully decorated dining area make it easy for our residents to socialise with others while enjoying nutritious and tasty meals.
Our Care Services
- Nursing care in Candlewood House is provided by our dedicated team of registered nurses, who strive to get to know each resident and tailor individual care plans, thus improving their well-being.
- Residential care in Candlewood House allows residents to live life with independence and helps them build their own routines while providing 24/7 access to professional care.
- Dementia care helps make our residents’ lives more independent, as well as get them engaged socially, physically and mentally. The care we provide is highly tailored and based on the individual’s dementia diagnosis and needs.
- Respite care we provide aids anyone recovering from recent injuries or living with physical disabilities. During your respite period at Candlewood House, you will be able to enjoy all of our luxury facilities.

A safe and comfortable environment for the elderly
At Candlewood House, we understand how difficult it can be for seniors to continue with their daily routines safely. Assisted living helps residents of older age live with more independence, as well as support their daily habits, all while having access to 24/7 care in a protected environment. By involving our residents in different activities and events we let them rediscover their interests and passions. We encourage everyone living in our care home to socialise, thus making it easy to meet like-minded individuals and feel like a valued part of our Hampstead community.
Our care teams value compassion and are dedicated to always providing professional care with dignity.
What is the difference between residential and nursing care?
Choosing a care home for your loved one can be a difficult and daunting task, especially when trying to make a choice between residential and nursing care. Although both of them are similar in some ways, they do have some key differences:
- Nursing care is the ideal choice for residents with physical disabilities and any complex medical needs, as nursing care is provided by teams of qualified nurses.
- Residential care is perfect for elderly residents, who wish to live surrounded by a warm community and have the ability to continue with their routines independently, all while receiving 24/7 care and support.
Our care home near Hampstead offers both nursing and residential care, allowing your loved one to receive personal care and support depending on their needs. Alongside the outstanding level of care, we also provide residents with a plethora of regular events and activities, which stimulate them mentally and physically.
At TLC Care, we understand how difficult it may be to make the right decision for your loved one. That’s why our warm and highly skilled teams are always happy to provide any guidance, helping you find the perfect level of residential or nursing care.
