Last week Candlewood House in Cricklewood welcomed not one but two Mayors to their opening event and celebration for staff, people involved in the build and members of the local community. Cllr Caroline Stock, Mayor of Barnet and Cllr Ernest Ezeajughi, Mayor of Brent, kindly helped officially open the home.
TLC Care are delighted with the finished project; a stunning community for people with nursing care needs, residents living with dementia and for people who simply choose a luxury lifestyle and beautiful place to live in their retirement years. Respite stays can also be supported. Candlewood House is TLC Care’s latest home in London. It boasts a unique combination of thoughtful design, innovative technologies and people who have a passion to serve and care for others.
Candlewood House General Manager Sybil Wright said: “It’s been an exciting year for Candlewood House. We look forward to many years of welcoming local people into our stunning home. Our values of Truth, Love and Compassion are at the heart of everything we do.
“Feelings matter to us, our therapeutic approach is designed for each resident and embraces their individuality, as well as the needs and feelings of their loved ones.”
Community Development Manager Julie Chanel said: “We can’t believe it’s finally happened. We are really proud of the wonderful community we have built here, and we so look forward to welcoming our first residents very soon.
“The developers and staff have worked hard to create a fun, enabling environment for our residents who will benefit from top quality care. This would not have been possible without everyone at Candlewood House pulling together.”
