Cherry Hinton Care Home is delighted to announce its support for the Christmas Book Pledge, a heartwarming initiative organized by the Histon branch of the Salvation Army. In the spirit of giving, we have proudly pledged £200 towards the purchase of books for children who may otherwise go without this Christmas.
At Cherry Hinton, we believe that every child deserves the joy and wonder that books bring, especially during the holiday season. With this donation, we hope to provide children with the opportunity to enjoy new stories, ignite their imaginations, and spread festive cheer.
If you would like to join us in supporting this meaningful cause, donations can be made by clicking the link here.
Together, we can make this Christmas brighter for those in need.

A visitor from the community was particularly taken with a stall manned by a Camberley Manor resident selling his very own homemade wooden crafts. He told us “It is very empowering to see a resident still doing what he loves the most, and interacting with people of all ages to showcase his skills.”
